Student Highlights

Krystal

Krystal is an actress who needs the flexibility which AzDL provides. She has appeared in the show Modern Family, and has a role in an upcoming movie called Camp 139.

Nate

Nate was selected to participate on a team of 8 students at GCC to work on a special project sponsored by a NASA Space Grant in Weather Balloon Research. They recently launched their specially designed capsule by weather balloon and are now analyzing the data for their final class project. (Click this link to watch Nate's balloon launch.)

Jett and Jager

Jett and Jagger are sponsored skateboarders. They have appeared in a recent Superbowl car commercial, competed in the X Games, and placed in prestigious national competitions and activities.

Joe

Joe is an actor who spends much of his time in L.A., appearing in various commercials and shows, including a recent episode of the Disney's kid show "Crash & Bernstein."

Mikaela and Emily

Mikaela and Emily are ballet dancers who need the schedule flexibility which distance learning provides. They have performed in roles in Ballet Etude's The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty.

Katie

Katie has been riding horses and competing for 10 years. She travels to different states and has been featured in horse magazines (The Chronicle) for competing in World and International shows.

Katlynn and Savannah

Congratulations to Katlynn and Savannah who were in a Starlight Community Theater production of Wizard of Oz last fall. Katlynn is Dorothy and Savannah is the Cowardly Lion.

Allison

Allison is an Actress, Singer/Songwriter, and Dancer who has gotten the opportunity to focus on her dreams, but still achieve a strong education with AzDL. Today, Allison performs as a vocalist and pianist, as well as performing in theatre productions. She plans to attend College in California, while chasing her dream as an Actress and Musician.
